Deidre Behrend (She/Her)
As a relationally grounded therapist, I am passionate about creating a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, responsive and compassionate, allowing you to show up in all your multitudes. I bring curiosity and grounding through modalities such as Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gottman Therapy, DBT, parts work, and somatic awareness to guide clients through a collaborative exploration that prioritizes their goals, amplifies their inherent strengths, and supports new ways of relating to themselves and others.
My work is neurodiversity, LGBTQ+, and disability-affirming, and I strive to offer a space where difference is respected, honored, and understood within its relational and cultural contexts. I am especially passionate about working with couples, including parents, couples experiencing infertility, loss, or life transitions, or those navigating differences in faith, culture, neurodiversity, or life experience, who want to create relationships that feel alive, intentional, and capable of growth.
Additionally, I enjoy working with individuals seeking to heal and reconnect after experiences of spiritual, sexual, attachment or childhood trauma, as well as those navigating neurodivergence, depression, anxiety, loss, OCD, or identity transitions. If you are curious about beginning this work together, I invite you to reach out. I welcome clients at all stages of readiness and would be honored to support you in exploring what healing, connection, and growth might look like for you.
